Hi,

I was just wondering if anyone could share which programs they have heard back from after they have interviewed. I understand not all programs do it...I have received letters in the mail from Emory, MUSC, and a personal email from GWU.

Thanks.

I also received an email from GWU, multiple emails from Albert Einstein in Philly, and a phone call from a resident at Monmouth.

feedback from Med College Georgia, Aultman (OH), Univ. Minnesota, UMKC.

If you are truely interested in a program call them up and keep in contact bi monthly with a resident /faculty. I would also recommend a second look

With ROL deadline right around the corner, contact has gone way up in the last week. E-mail from the prog dir at OHSU, call from the chair of Beth Israel Deaconess, call from the PD at Colorado, call from my resident interviewer at UCSF, call from the chair at UCLA (does anyone know what the hell is going on over there about their absentee PD?).

Taking it all with a heart-unhealthy load of salt....

As you get people to contact you, be forewarned to have the conversation sawy you. It is easy to fall into the "they really want me" mentality and change your ranking based on the program's desire to have you. It is reassuring to know that the programs want you, but make your decisions based on what you truly want.

Has anyone heard from UVA, Duke, or Wash U (other than form letter post interview)?

I received new letters from Temple, Akron General in OH. Phone calls are definately a good sign as are emails from interviewers or deans. As mentioned previously make sure you look at the programs GYN #'s as one can go anywhere and meet OB#'s.

Good luck certifying those ROL's

P.S. AGOG recently put out an article stating that those that ranked 7+ programs had a better chance of matching than those who only ranked 4 programs. As for myself I am ranking 12
