Anybody on here that interviewed on 3/2 at Lincoln Memorial? Keep in touch! I'm curious how quick we'll get feedback.

I think they meet on Thursdays, so you could hear as early as Monday. I recieved a call from the Dean on a Monday after the meeting, but sometimes he doesn't call! Good luck

Debusk is going to be an outstanding school!!! Extremely professional and yet gives you the feel that they're there for you...this is a great time to be at Debusk! If I may give you one advice, even though they'll tell you and you'll probably hear from other interviewees that the interview is low key, be prepared to answer qs like why medicine, why DO, why Debusk. They're a school that looks for passion and not just the numbers IMO. I had a great great experience with Dr. Kiick. If you have interview with him, make sure you know your stuff.

They actually told us it will take longer than usual b/c of students that are getting their mcat scores back that apparently had major problems with them and are calling and e-mailing like crazy. They said the people that took the mcat in August (when everyone changed over to the computer systems) had answers to the verbal reasoning passages that weren't aligned correctly. Students have been getting scores of 1's and 2's on VR and now don't know what to do since they're trying to get in this upcoming year.

How was it that the verbal reasoning passages weren't aligned? Was this an error on the MCAT's part or the student's part? Either way, that seems pretty careless considering the magnitude of what the test means. Well, good luck to you in your quest at DCOM.

I'm not for sure how that happened. It seems like the people taking the test would have realized they weren't looking at the correct answer choices and said something right away.

I thought there was only one passage that there was a problem with and I thought that they threw the question out and adjusted the scoring or something like that. Hmmmm....😕 I didn't even know you could get a 1. 😱 Well, hopefully you will hear soon.

Hi, I was the other blonde...but the one with 4 kiddos. I got an e-mail from Paul Carney saying that they had met, but my appl was missing the recommendation letters from my science profs. In the end, they just had not downloaded them from Virtual Eval. I am assuming that means I will have to wait until next weeks meeting to actually be reviewed...I don't really know. Maybe you will get a call on Monday -I will try to post when I find out something new.

Hi. Welcome to the thread. 😳 How is the weather out there? Is DCOM your first pick? If your from Texas, you are pretty much a shoe in a Texas schools -if you make the early deadline. How is that looking?

i was a little late on the texas schools deadlines, busy with school, i leave for the nyc and an interview with touro-ny on wed, but i would have to say dcom is my first pick. the weather is great down here, like 75 and sunny, not really looking forward to the coldness of ny

Okay, though I think my file did not get reviewed b/c of the recommendation error (of course I won't say who's fault it is...theirs). So I'm sure it will be Thursday before I am reviewed.

But from what I hear DCOM does make phone calls to those accepted, at least part of the time. So if you all hear anything, you must post!😀
