Fellowship and Job search

Hello everyone, I am PGY2 IMG on H1b visa, looking to apply for hem/onc fellowship this year. I may have some chances to match, but still I am kinda worried what if I dont? Match is in December and that may be too late to start look for a job if you want GC sponsorship as my H1b expires at the end of June 2022. Do you guys think that I should look for a job and at the same time apply for fellowship or would it be smarted to wait for GC and apply afterwards?

I was in your position, I looked for a job first got gc and then fellowship, it went much better and then you have your gc and when you look for a job after fellowship you will not have any restrictions. Also matching on h1b is not that easy but restricts your places so in my opinion is better to get gc first
