Are fellowships required of ortho's who want to go into private practice and do spine or knee?

Fellowships are usually needed for hand, just not sure about the others.

Fellowships are usually needed for hand, just not sure about the others.

For knees and hips, no. For spine, mostly yes. Some do ACDF's and Discectomies as generalists.
