Hi guys, so I'm currently going over the Cliff's and supplementing it with the Schaums' outline. My test date is July 31. I feel like taking my own notes will be very helpful with memorizing stuff but it would probably take too much time. Do you guys have any suggestions on whether I should keep taking the very detailed notes? Thanks!!

When do you think is a good time to start the destroyer? After going through all the materials once or do that at the same time?

If you have a good foundation you can go straight to the Destroyer, in our classroom setting we do some review work and hit the Destroyer, we go over every question in the Destroyer, all the questions are important..As I have stated many times in this forum, there are many many versions of the DAT so you must prepare for whatever comes your way. Most students find the Destroyer VERY challenging, don't get discouraged keep working through it.

Do you recommend supplementing the destroyer answers with your own notes, or do they cover each answer choice adequately enough? Also, I am keeping track of any topics I'm not 100% at on flashcards/a table in word documents. It feels like it isn't as organized as I like since the problems are all on different topics. Is there anything I should be doing better when approaching the destroyer and note taking?

Yeah that's what I found too after going over the first couple questions. I will keep working on those questions. Thank you very much for help!!

Ever thought about making an index that has something like

Embryology:
Question numbers
1, 15, 23 etc

Physiology;
5,99,500 etc?

Likewise for gen Chem solubility index of questions or redox questions etc.

I know it would be a pain and studying different parts all at once is good but I know I would love to have hit certain areas I wasn't as comfortable with.
