what happens to GFR, RPF and FF in Efferent arteriolar constriction? Did it a a long time ago..can't recall what happens acutely and with prolonged constriction.
Efferent constriction increases resistance so RPF goes down. Since the efferent arteriole is downstream of the glomerulus, the decrease in GFR is minimized. Hence GFR decrease less relative to the RPF (or stays normal/close to normal). FF = GFR/RPF --> increases.
