Hey,

I've heard the final 2 weeks are very important. I was just wondering what kind of score increases do you usually receive within these final 2 weeks? I'm asking this so if I'm not close my favorable score at the 2 week mark, if I should postpone my MCAT or believe that I can increase it in 2 weeks.

Thanks!

There are too many factors involved to give you an estimate. Some people may not increase, while others may jump a few points, and then there will be people that decrease. If you're not prepared before the final 2 weeks, then delay. Don't count on any score increases.

I wouldn't count on last 2 weeks to improve your scores a whole lot. Mainly, you take practice FLs during this time so that you will minimize the mistakes for the actual thang. You might see a dramatic improvement if you were hanging out in the low zone area, however, it is still unlikely.

What about if you are still completing content review? Shouldn't you see a score increase after you have adequately reviewed all of the content?

...content review should be done by at the latest 2 weeks before the exam, I think. Preferably 1 month - 2 months before would be the best?

Well I am not finished....It would seem that with the material fresh in your head that for some people it may be more advantageous. I have been taking some practice tests periodically but I still have extras to take once I am finished with content review but I am not finished yet...and my test is August 13.

My weakest area is Physicial Science so I have been working slowly through that trying to get a thorough understanding.
