Finally applying for fall 2011

I'm finally applying for the fall 2011 class. I just finished my writing sample and I'm turning in my application tomorrow. I wish I had the luxury of applying anywhere in the country but I don't. I have one school that I can apply for and if I don't get in I don't have a clue what I will do. So here is to hopefully starting fall 2011!

I didn't have that luxury, either. I only applied to one school myself and fortunately, had a positive outcome. I wish you the best! A lot of people on these forums seem to be putting a lot of pressure on themselves to apply to several programs... I can't say I relate, as long as you work hard and have solid reasons as to why you want to pursue this field, I don't see why you wouldn't succeed 🙂

I put the pressure on myself due to the fact that I only have the luxury of applying to one school. I have been working my tail off, so hopefully I get in. Congrats on getting into your program.

I can't help much with admissions-related questions since every school is different, but when (not if,when) you get into school, if you have any OT-related questions, I would be happy to help you (I started my program last summer).

Sorry, no. I'm on the east coast. I wouldn't even be able to help with admissions questions about my school because the process has changed a lot since I applied- everything from the prereqs to the use of the new application to the interview process. Interview questions seem to be the same across the board, though.
