Can a school give you a financial aid package while you are on the waitlist? I am currently on the waitlist at the PharmD school I want to go and I received an e-mail from them that my financial package had come through and I looked at it and it has a pharmacy scholarship, health sciences professions loan, etc. I thought you had to be accepted at a school before they gave you financial aid. So, it is making me feel like maybe I am going to get in but I don't want to get my hopes up if it doesn't really mean anything. Any info is appreciated. Thanks!

I know that they do pull off many students from the waitlist. My guess is that you are pretty high on the waitlist and you are very likely to get in and they want you to be prepared financially because the aid process is long and if you wait until you get in, you'll be waiting for the funds to arrive even after the semester starts. It does sound like your chances are good especially because they don't do this for everyone.

Yeah I have no idea what it means and since I have not been accepted yet I am not sure if I should accept the financial aid now or not. Is there any kind of deadline for financial aid? And do you know where you are going yet? I see you've been accepted a bunch of places, congrats! Sorry for all the questions lol.
