am also new in the States
am planning to start studying in mid november,most probably the exam will be in mid may
any1 interested to be partner or even group study???
btw, i live in dallas/ texas
hope to have people interesting...

btw, am male,but i dont care about the partners if male or female

I'm a female, planning to take my NBDE PART 1 either this Dec or early next year (2010). I'm looking for a study partner/group for dicussions and to keep me motivated and do better in the exam. If anybody is interested,plz let me know.Thanks. [email protected]

Hi, I am planning on Taking Part I at the beginning of March. I have recently started with Micro, Kaplan and First Aid and also a little bit of USMLE. Is anybody interested in exchanging studying strategies, making/sharing a study plan? It is very hard to study by yourself.

I have started with Micro and Path. I've been using Kaplan, Decks and First Aid. Planning to take Part 1 exam in March. I am interested in sharing a study plan/discussing question papers....
We can make a study group.

I am doing Micro, goinng very slow and I am a little bit confused. Hope it will get better after doing a revision tomorrow.
Am trying to study at least 6 hours a day but I am getting distracted very easily. And I am panicking sometimes because time is pretty short.
Right now I am doing Gram neg cocci, hope to do today gram neg bacilli and start tomorrow with anaerobes. But right now I am behind my plan.
How are you guys doing? Good luck and I will keep you posted.

I haven't taken the date yet. Planning on taking in first week of March- March 6th or 8th.
I have graduated in 1995, so it has been a long, long time since I have studied Micro, Biochem etc.
Today I am reviewing whatever I did in Micro in the last couple of days and maybe will do something new, because I have the feeling that I have forgotten everything that I have studied. So for me, revision is very important. I have to revise every 3-4 days.

i m thinking of studying decks whole thoroly once.. no matter how much u remmeber.. this thing might take time.. but than i tink the next revisions will be easy n less time consuming.. what u guys tell??

I am studying decks together with Kaplan Notes because decks are mixed up. I am reading a chapter from Kaplan and then I look for the respective dental decks. I cannot study from dental decks alone. I also think that they do not cover everything that we need to know for the test.

isnt tht too time consuming? i mean reading in kaplan will be i think fast but than afterwards finding questions from decks will be time consuming??? as like in decks all questions are given random.. not according to the exact chapter wise...
