I am trying to decide between two schools, and want to evaluate a few factors but am having trouble finding the information online in terms of:
comparing STEP 1 score averages
attrition rates


Also, what is the best way to compare in terms of quality/structure of education for both the medical school and its residency program if they have one?

Everything I've ever heard about step 1 and institution is that it is a function of the individual student, not the place they had lectures. The schools with the highest averages usually also happen to have the highest MCATs, kind of like how undergrads with super high SAT averages tend to do well on the MCAT. How you personally score is not likely to go up or a down a bunch based on school (from what I've heard).

Attrition rates are going to be extremely extremely low for all US MD schools

Things that I considered in the end was when students start clinicals, take the Step, the amount of time given for dedicated Step study. In the end, I went with the school with the best weather and city life.
