Thanks again NickNaylor, mmmcdowe, and your friends who did this. It was very helpful and gave me a realistic, down-to-earth look at what some aspects of medical school might be like. Look forward to you guys collaborating again.

If I was to ask a question for next time, it would be one of those "what would you have wanted to know as an entering MS1/applicant/undergrad?" type questions.

Finished listening and really enjoyed this. Definitely a good idea overall and super informative. If you decide to do another another one of these you should get that guy from the Pritzker podcast, I'm definitely interested in his experiences as an MD/PhD student.

Just want to say thanks for taking the time to make this video. Its nice to have someone demystify medical school in such a personal way. You usually can't get this kind of disclosure except on interview days.

Alex has some major swag though. I was thinking the smooth jazz could have helped the quality of the video. Dr. Freedman uses it in her presentation.

On a serious note, you guys did an excellent job addressing a lot of the questions that I have had. For others, you simply confirmed it with your own personal experiences. I wish you guys the best.

I'm pre-dental and I'm not going to lie...I started watching mainly to see what Nick Naylor was going to look like. I was expecting a Drake look-alike. Then I realized that it was pretty interesting/entertaining, and decided to forgo the movie I was planning to watch and watch the whole fireside chat instead. I have to say it was very interesting.

Lol, we all have our type A sides. Some more than others, but you have to be some sort of type A to make it through the hoops to get there.

Not sure why... I noticed that too. I can see the views when I look at the admin panel but I'm not sure why it's not displaying on the video page. I guess only I get to know. 😉

You're not the only one who gets to know, Nick.

I don't know why it's not showing up on the video itself, but if you click on the account (NickNaylor) it shows the number of subscribers and video views. I am assuming the video views on the account page is the total # of views of all uploaded videos, and since NickNaylor has only uploaded one video, it should match the # of views for the SDN Fireside Chat video. 😛
