For all our wonderful pre-pharms:

What's your first choice pharm school?

I'm lazier than BMB, so please copy and update the list yourself.

There is no doubt in my mind my top choice is UCSF. I want to stay at home and it is a great school :)
I am a bit curious to learn more about UCSD though. I will add to the list.

u forgot about me

yea, I forgot to add Rutgers too, since they don't require interview. If you noticed, most of my schools don't require interviews, except UNC and Campbell. I live in NC so I dont' mind those schools. There are some schools (Ohio State, Auburn) that I like to apply but they require interviews, and they're too far away. I have to take at least a day off from school if I want to do interview with them, and I can't afford that. Also, Is it true that private schools are easier to get into than public schools?

sorry!:)

I got into Florida (public), but didn't get into Campbell (private). I did get an interview and was told that they were waiting for my final transcripts. Eventually, I received a rejection letter stating to stay in school and get my BS to further my chances next year. This seemed weird, since I have a BS. It turns out that they never got my transcripts. UF didn't get them either, but they understand about screw ups and let me resubmit them. So, I guess I'll never know if I would have gotten into Campbell.

It might be if you're out-of-state. State schools are sometimes required to give preference to in-staters or to accept a certain percentage of in-state students.

I would post my first choice school, but I'm not applying till next year. :)

I'm applying til next year either. About the public/private school thing, that's what i thought. That's why my first choice is UNC, since it's in state. I didn't know Campbell is so hard to get into. It's supposed to be my backup plan.

In that case, I'll add my first choice too.

Wowzers. We have a lot more diversity in first choices than we seem to on general board users. That's cool.
