Is there a plus side when called to be one of the first interviewed at a school or is getting the answer of whether you are accepted or not the only thing positive because of this?

From my understanding of admissions processes, it really depends on whether or not the school uses rolling admissions or not. If they do rolling admissions, it would definitely be an advantage to interview as early as possible because if you don't get selected the first time, you will still be considered during each subsequent round. If they don't use rolling admissions, then it really doesn't matter when you interview. All applicants would be considered at the same time in this case.
I agree with the previous poster. Though each school only has a certain number of spots, the later the interview, more of the spots are filled, so you are competing for fewer spots.
