So there is alot of doom and gloom on this forum sometimes. At times I have taken part in those discussions. The fact is sometimes I think we look at things from a perspective that makes it hard to have a positive view regarding work and maybe life in general. The other day I was cruising the Internet in my very nice, state of the art hospital, on it's very fast wifi with my brand new iPad and I came across this website http://first-world-problems.com/. The concept made me think about the perspective in which we view our day to day issues and problems. So here are a few of my first world problems....

My Yukon is too big to fit in the Starbucks drive thru.
I can't decide which house to buy....the one with the huge finished basement or the one with the huge yard.

What are some of yours?

The wall mounted flat screen hd tv in my 20 month old's room is not exactly level. It's just a little bit off. Not so much that anybody else would notice but me. But, i really think somebody should come fix that thing.

During a violent storm recently some large trees fell in the "back nine", the natural woods behind my house, that I had to have removed because my wife didn't like looking through the woods and seeing them down. I also had to pay to have them hauled away, it's not like I would use all that wood for anything!
Hard times indeed.

The free wifi at my stuffwhitepeoplelike.com coffee shop is down, so I have to use my iPhone's mobile wifi hotspot feature to connect my laptop to the interwebs to write this post.

While drinking a latte.

I'm still running the A/C here.

It's been below freezing every night for a couple weeks now. I think our avocado trees are dead. :annoyed: Highs in the 50s. NOT what I moved back to California for. 🙁 But I guess some allowances for non-sunny weather can be made in December.

Back on topic. The soup I got from the cafeteria today was too salty, so I threw it out and got something else instead.

Sometimes my laptop stutters when I'm watching ESPN3 and streaming to my HDTV. So, I have to watch the EPL on my other computer.

New Pool or finished basement with a bar?

BTW any suggestions on how to limit glare/reflections on my 60" 3D Plasma?

I can't find organic 1/2 and 1/2. This seems to diminish the significance of my fresh ground organic fair trade coffee beans.

I don't have enough time to play MW3 AND BF3 AND the HALO anniversary game :-(

Our Land Cruisers are void of heated seats and the cold leather makes my cheeks pucker in the winter. 😡😡 I can't believe Toyota had the nerve to sell their flagship luxury vehicle without heater leather seats in 1997.

The opera tickets I purchased on a whim for $150/pp are a few seats back from where I usually sit. I worry I won't be able to see EVERYTHING.

My spouse, who treats me wonderfully and has never been abusive or even yelled, still complains about doing the dishes.

My residency Christmas bonus this year is only $500.

you get a bonus?!?

I called tech support at 11 pm for the free wifi I was using and they put me on hold. Not for too long, and they did get the problem fixed, but being put on hold is kinda annoying.

i want to bring my iphone with me to the bathroom but it's low on battery.
