Is it true that the state of FL allows the max therapeutic drugs privilege to ODs? and if so, is it also true that FL boards are the hardest to pass bc of this? and how can I find out the scope of practice for ODs in each state? thanks!

Florida in NO WAY is at the max for drug privileges. In fact, it's at the bottom. You can only Rx topical meds. (no orals)

Florida boards are also some of the hardest to pass, but it has nothing to do with scope of practice. It has everything to do with Florida being a retirement and transient patient state. They don't want northern docs coming down with the snow birds and taking business away from docs who live here year round. They offer boards only once a year in July/Aug.
