Does anyone know what the FIU interview process is like? Group interview?
When did you get your invite for FIU?

Has anyone been invited for the last UCF interview?

I believe that people were already invited to that interview. It's happening in two weeks and all the paperwork for it was due by the 20th the latest. Perhaps there will be some last minute invites.

From my experience last year, they sent my rejection the day before the last interview date, so I was virtually left in the dark until last minute.

UM just sent out a wave of acceptances

Yeah I found it that day... I think it ended up in all our Junk mail

I had an early interview at FIU this week. It went well.

How did your interview go? I'm scheduled for an interview next week and I'm pretty nervous. What questions did they ask you? Any information helps! 🙂

UCF interviews finished today, so decisions should be out soon!

Has anyone heard from Nova Southeastern University and University of Miami?

Yeah we're pretty much in the same boat. I'm only waiting on UCF, denying everywhere else. If I get an acceptance from UCF, I'll be attending there. The only thing that worries me is that UCF said they can see when you accept another school. Which I don't know if that means they may think twice before offering acceptance because you're already accepted into another program. But I'm hoping it doesn't mean anything.
They are only able to see what schools you get acceptances from if they offer you acceptances.

I asked PTCAS this same question and here is what they said. They said that other schools can only see the schools that you have accepted. They do not see all of the programs that have accepted you only the ones you yourself have committed to. Let's say you were accepted to 4 programs and you accepted and committed to two of those via email confirmation or paying a deposit - then the other programs will see those two. If neither of those two schools is your real #1 and you are still awaiting to hear from you #1 then yes your #1 can see where you have already committed.

So do they see if a student accepts another offer or not?

@MagDPT
Even if they see it, I really think it is expected to have accepted a school while waiting for your number 1. Honestly, it would make no sense for them to expect that you decline a school before hearing from the other school Wouldn't think UCF would have a problem with that. They are well aware that some students were offered admission in December to UF, and UCF isn't giving you a decision until now, and neither is USF, and UNF's interview isn't even until Feb. 11. Unless you were specifically told otherwise, it doesn't make sense that that could impact a decision. Just my opinion based on what I have learned here and my own acceptances. I could be wrong. Hope you hear soon. I know you really want UCF.

Good to know, thanks!

Exactly. I talked to a lot of people about it and I really had no choice but to accept at UF. It would be too risky to not accept then get denied from UCF. This waiting game is just so hard! lol.

Both schools are almost full!
Did you call and ask UM about that? Because I had my interview back in Nov and I'm still waiting to hear back!

They do see it - yes

I agree they see it. Just can't believe a school wouldn't offer an acceptance because someone said yes to a program previously. Now if you have multiple acceptances for months, a school might question that.

I guess depends on the school and how competitive your application is against the others being considered. I agree doesn't seem fair a program would do that. However, programs have a lot to manage with so many candidates, and maybe it will just make them compete for you as a candidate. But I don't think we should assume it plays no part.

Yes if you accept--the information at this link is ambiguous which is why I contacted PTCAS with an email to make sure I fully understood what they were saying at that link.

Thanks. Is that your first choice school? I will actually be declining so I hope it will help out someone else.
It was my second choice so I'm still hoping to hear from my first choice but I am super excited about USF in the fact that it is a medical integrated program and I love the Tampa area! So I'm probably going to accept by the end of this week!
