Hey
I just got an e-mail from UF:

...As an applicant to the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine, I wish to bring to your attention the opportunity to consider enrollment in a joint DVM/MPH training program.
...

Anyone thinking of doing this? Is it worth it to send in an application? The deadline is in March. Since they haven't sent out interviews/rejections yet, I'm not sure whether applying will make me a stronger applicant (I am interested in research) or be a waste of time.

Yeah I just got that email as well. The extra $12,000-14,000 in tuition costs doesn't seem that appealing to me right now, but it looks like a pretty cool program. I'm not sure about how it will help the admissions process or not...Personally, I'm going to stick to my simple DVM application, but I'm weighing in costs as well. Florida's in-state for me and the price was a definite perk.

Yea I got it too. Considering that I want to get into disease control I plan to apply for this. Although, I dislike how you have to apply before knowing if you get into vet school or not. 🙁
