Between 280-300k in these counties based on solicitations I'm getting from recruiters. Expect to see 22-25 patients in south FL.Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach County are highly saturated. I wouldn't expect those numbers.
Id expect 250 for 18-20. HCA 25 for 300k maybe…Between 280-300k in these counties based on solicitations I'm getting from recruiters. Expect to see 22-25 patients in south FL.
In 2024, with record high inflation rates over the past few years, it should be at least $350k for the typical 7-on-7-off/182 shifts daytime only position per year (that's after including RVU and quality bonuses and 401K matching if offered, but not counting extra shifts); and that's for seeing 18-22 per day on a rounding shift. Saturated big cities in Florida and desirable coastal areas will probably be able to get away with offering a bit lower; the harder-to-recruit areas like small towns and more rural areas will likely have to offer more than that to recruit.
"Upwards of $300K+"Here is an email I got from a recruiter:

We see the practice of Hospital Medicine differently, we put caring for
patients above all else —
because not only it’s the right thing to do, but that it’s what
medicine was designed to do. As a uniquely
physician-led, physician-founded team, we believe it’s time to get back
to a promise of doing right by
the patient first. When people are in their most vulnerable state, they need an
advocate at their side
providing the highest quality, concierge level of care.

If that's low $300k's, that's low pay for a nocturnist position working 182 twelve-hours shifts per year. Should be more like $400k+. Being in Miami, they might be able to get away with slightly lower but wouldn't do it for low $300ks unless the volume is unusually low.
