Does anyone know any good community based FM programs to apply to in OH and the Midwest?
Hello, I applied to 30 FM programs but I have only heard back from 10 places (and have gotten interview invites from all of them).. should I send out a letter of interest to residency programs I’m really interested in but haven’t heard back from yet??
I submitted on September 24 but I haven’t gotten any more interview emails since Oct 1..
Why? So long as it is a good program with solid learning opportunities that fit your goal, what are you specifically looking for in a "top academic program" that you need?I'm really hoping to hear back from some top academic programs...

Why?I guess maybe it’s partially big name recognition
But also wanted to train at a level 1 trauma center since that’s where I’ve been for medical school and I’m seen a lot of complex and serious cases
The only thing that I worry about with big academic programs is making sure I’m not “second fiddle” to IM, OB, or peds residents on those rotations
Why?
