Food Ingredients Database

Does anyone know a database containing information for specific ingredients/additives found in food products in the U.S.? I'm working on a project looking at allergies to food additives, and I would like to have information on the specific brands and products that contain these additives.

Don't know but sounds like a very difficult project especially even defining what you mean by "allergy."
