Football lapel pin on white coat

Sort of a goofy question. I have a small ~1" tall New Orleans Saints logo (gold fleur-de-lis) lapel pin. I was thinking of putting it on my white coat. Is that sort of thing OK or frowned on?

I wouldn't necessarily say you have to save it for third year. I've worn my two LSU lapel pins since getting my white coat 4 years ago. Gotta be able to express yourself somehow!! 🙂
