For students who get into medical school through postbacc linkage, are their uGPAs counted on MSAR?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.

The AAMC calculates the scores reported in the MSAR, not the schools themselves.
The schools can put whatever they want on their website, though.
Thank you for your answer, but if you are doing a post bacc linkage, do you bypass AMCAs?

It's a median score, so unless a significant proportion of matriculants were from such a program, it would have little effect.
We cannot bypass AAMC! ...at least not on the MSAR.

do post bacc linkages allow you to bypass AMCAs?
The answer is no. Even if it's just a formality because you are guaranteed acceptance, all MD medical students have an AMCAS application on file. As the adcoms have been saying, it is a primary source of data for AAMC, it's how schools verify your transcripts, it's where information on IAs, permission for background checks, certifications, etc. are gathered and stored. To my knowledge, no MD medical student "bypasses" AMCAS.
