1) Have you ever been convicted of, or pleaded guilty or no contest to, a Felony crime, excluding 1) any offense for which you were adjudicated as a juvenile, or 2) convictions which have been expunged or sealed by a court (in states where applicable)?

2) Have you ever been convicted of, or pleaded guilty or no contest to, a Misdemeanor crime, excluding 1) any offense for which you were adjudicated as a juvenile, 2) any convictions which have been expunged or sealed by a court, or 3) any misdemeanor convictions for which any probation has been completed and the case dismissed by the court (in states where applicable)?

Does getting a speeding ticket and then going to the court and pleading guilty count as #2?

In most states, no. Some states consider some traffic tickets to be misdemeanors. But for the majority of us, the answer is no.

I made a prohibited right turn (on a green light), and received a ticket for "Failure to obey traffic control devices." From reading my state's code, I believe this is considered a misdemeanor. Okay now I feel sick.

Med schools still probably won't care.

I drove 50 mph on a main road with 35 mph in a particular region. The speed limit keeps changing along that road and it was an empty road that day. The worst thing is that my insurance card is expired. I used to live in maryland, where the expiration of the insurance card does not matter, as long as you have the policy number and the policeman can check. Then I just moved to Illinois with a maryland license plate on my car. The police said the insurance card has to be updated. Even though I said I can call the insurance company or go online to download a new version of the insurance card, he insisted to charge me with no insurance proof and speeding and gave me an court order. I went to the court and saw a lot of people there just for speeding. I have been caught speeding in Maryland and have just been given warnings.

Is this considered misdemeanors in Illinois, where can check on that?

You must have been really speeding to have to go to court huh? 😛
