I'll admit it active recall is not for me

It's too time.consuming and i tend to forget , also i have friends that what they do is actually just reading and rereading and the day before the big exam they do the exams from the previous years
And they do extremly well

So guys what are your techniques of reading here is what i know

You must focus.not just read and your mind is.wondering about the next spiderman.movie , but is it reading and understanding many times make you remmeber a lot and get good marks ?
