when is the deadline to fork over most of the tuition to hold your seat? I'm just wondering because I'm on the waitlist for one of the schools and wondering about the *ssholes holding spots at 2 different pharmacy schools, who can't make up his/her damn mind. I want to know when the *ssholes will make up their mind so the waitlisters like me can stop worrying and finally get pulled of the freakin wait list like 1 week before school start so i can start worrying about booking airflights and renting rooms. :meanie::meanie::meanie:

@ UF it is after classes start. 😱

I know ppl who got pulled off the waitlist a day before classes started.

So, you want to go from wait list to acceptance? Here's what you do: call the pharmacy admissions committee and express your interest. Send additional letters of recommendation from a pharmacist or a professor. Send those two extra recommendations directly to the dean and another copy to the admissions office. Make sure they sign for it.

If you really want to get into pharmacy school and are put on waitlist, you must deliver your personal statement that you wrote for pharmcas directly to the dean and the admissions office as well. I hope this helps.

If you need help with your personal statement, feel free to send me a private message. I am just here to help. See my other posts too.

Send an email to pharmacyiii at yahoo.com - I promise I will reply within 48 hours.

I think the bulk of the tuition is due right before or after classes start. The deposits were usually due within a few weeks of acceptance. I'm sad about losing my $1000 I sent to Nova.....however I am saving thousands in the meantime.

Really?
I'm pretty sure at my school they rank candidates based on their applications, then if you don't make the initial cut your place on the waitlist is determined by this initial ranking. Maybe other schools have different policies, but most of the schools I know of don't even want to talk to you about your waitlist status, let alone accept some kind of secondary application material.

The first chunk of my tuition is due the day after classes start.
