I thought it would be interesting to hear what each student's #1 top choice is (out of places they have interviewed) for acceptance on Dec. 3. Feel free to share why or just say the name of the school.

My #1 is Marquette for the combination of clinical strength, location, relatively low OOS tuition and the feel I got on campus visiting with students.

I also like Michigan, but I have to say hands down Louisville. Family feel, amazing facilities, great clinical opportunities and TONS of patients!

Can't decide, hopefully ill only get into one!

I half hope for the same thing...it will be tough to say no to some excellent schools I interviewed at if I should be so lucky to get accepted into more than 1 program.

Its funny, so far we have no repeats. I guess we are all drawn to different things about schoools.

Michigan is getting a lot of love, which I can understand. If it wasn't for proximity to family, Michigan would be my number 1 choice as well.

UDM is my only pre-dec interview, so it is my top choice! 🙂

I fall in love with each school I interview at! I think I need to revisit each one before I decide. 😎

Are there accepted students days to revisit the schools?

I can't decide between Harvard and Penn. Both have already accepted me, I was that damn good.

This is about as difficult as a choice as when I had to decide between accepting the Noble Prize in medicine and the Nobel Peace Prize. For some stupid reason they wouldn't let me accept both.

Anyway, I'm off to colonize Mars.

Do you need assistant to colonize Mars?🙂

Just a reminder that your "#1 choice school" should be the cheapest school for you to attend. You will thank me in 4 years! You will be a competent dentist from any school. You will have similar classmates no matter where you go. You will hate dental school no matter where you go (jk). The only exception I can think of is if you need to be close to family.

How do you know you have been accepted?

I think let's explore the closest Black hole..Mars we can go some other time

Michigan is my top choice. I went to undergrad at um and loved it. Ann Arbor is a great college town and there is always a lot going on.

UCSF! Wooo! *takes off shirt and twirls it around over head*
