Forecast: slightly hazy?

Has anyone heard of hazing going on in medical school? I know in this day and age this prospect is probably unlikely (or very mildly inflected), but I seem to recall stories (probably from movies or something else equally unreliable) of new people getting a little initiation hazing on the induction into medical school. Think this has/still goes on anywhere?

My Couz who goes to a foriegn med school told me stories about hazing at his med school. Just shouting at the 1st years when they come in first day. He said they actually got some 1st years to cook a meal for them. Some of them carry books.
