So I'm at that point in studying where it feels like once I've gone through a subject, I've forgotten most of the previous one already. I scored awesomely in endo in qbank right after I studied it a few weeks ago, and tried another set today in which my score dropped 40%..no joke. Any advice on how to not have this happen so drastically? Do you guys review old subjects constantly or just save it to the end after you've gone through them and cross your fingers? I'm worried that if I spend too much time reviewing old subjects while studying new ones, I'll just run out of time.

Flash cards for the hardest material to remember. Review every night.

You don't have to make a lot. Even a brief review of some facts triggers your memory for other ones.

How much time do you spend reviewing old stuff v. learning new stuff on a daily basis, I mean before the final weeks of intense memorizing?

I have the same problem! I'm trying to figure out a good balance between learning new stuff and reviewing. I'm using gunner training flashcards, which are awesome, but if I were to review all my assigned cards daily I'd never get anything else done! So now I have decided to dedicate 2hours per day to flashcards; maybe the week before my test I'll bump that up to 3 or 4 hours.

I try to do uworld questions after I study a specific subject - and if I do 2 or more sets of 46?s then on the last set I will do questions on all subjects I have covered up to that day. I find that when I go over the answers, it's a nice review of the key points of what I had learned thus far.

may be a review course might help cement things...kaplan/dit/usmlestep1ready ....best of luck 👍

So I started doing some more random qbank qs of past subjects and it's going OK.. better than the panic inducing one test that started this post. I guess I'm wondering how much people spend reveiwing past subjects on a day to day basis, or if they just primarily focus on the current topic.

Along those lines, how you felt or expect to feel about 3 weeks out from the test -- i.e., like you've memorized everything and just need to review to extra-cement the info in your brain OR that you've seen the material and understood it, but the last 3 weeks are where memorizing memorizing really goes down.
