Was always with my kids (simply to keep them calm for the sake of the provider) in pediatrics on Fort Sam...

It only takes one person to put all us families on high alert. Had this discussion with an old colleague who actually works as a pediatrician on behalf of the Air Force. Definitely a shock with more families requesting themselves and a second personnel to be with their kids.
