The Department of Biomedical Sciences at the Burrell College of Osteopathic Medicine (BCOM) is offering a free one-semester MCAT prep course for individuals interested in going to medical school. This course is designed to help strengthen MCAT scores and train pre-medical students to become competitive when applying for medical school admission. In addition to providing training to effectively take the MCAT test, this course provides a strong learning environment designed to improve interview skills and teach students how to create a strong application packet.
The course runs Monday and Wednesday evenings from January 18 through the end of April, with some Saturday sessions dedicated to interview preparation and mock interviews. Although the course is primarily intended for individuals from the region who can attend in person, it will be webcast at: https://bcomnm.org/academics/bcom-mcat-prep-course/webcast/. All times listed are Mountain Standard Time. An orientation session will be held Friday, January 13 at 4 PM.
BCOM Mission: Para la gente y el futuro: For the people and the future, the Burrell College of Osteopathic Medicine (BCOM) is dedicated to improving the health of the Southwestern United States and Northern Mexico through culturally competent undergraduate, graduate and continuing osteopathic medical education, research and clinical service to the community.
BCOM is focused on increasing diversity in the physician workforce and fostering a practice of life-long learning, compassion, respect and excellence in its students.
