frequency of interview invites?

In general, how often do schools send out their interview invites? I know this will vary school to school, but it seems like a number of schools sent out a handful of invites and then it's just been silence over the past couple weeks. Do they generally send them out continuously throughout the cycle or at any regular interval? Thanks!!!

There's usually a flood of them beginning late July/early August. Then they start trickling in at any random time after that.

I received mine in September and October... no other invites for me. I think if you are getting an interview it will occur before the new year. After that it may be time to reapply or do something else
