It's t minus 2 days till my boards, and I haven't done one yet, but was considering borrowing someone else's Qbank just to do the full length practice exam. I was just wondering if this was good for review or just for stamina. Is it useful to do?

Thoughts?

I took it 5 days before my exam and thought it was nice to reassure me about the timing, see how timing goes etc. And yeah it does give you decent prep for how much stamina you'll need. I thought qbanks was harder than the real thing though, so with 2 days left if getting a tough exam will discourage you you may not want to. Do you feel like there are better ways to spend your time?

I would personally just study first aid, do a couple questions, etc. to try to pick up those couple extra points in the last 2 days. Taking a full length doesn't seem like a very efficient use of time at this point. My biggest fear would be not doing as well as I thought I would and being more stressed for the real thing.

But if you think the experience with timing the exam would be helpful then it might be a good idea.

Yeah, I kind of do have better things to do, like review weak stuff in 1st Aid. I was asking bec my friends who are also taking the exam had taken the full-length (they had it, I didn't), and recommended that I did. But I'm thinking if it's just for stamina, I don't really need it.

I'm concentrating on 1st Aid, and doing a few more blocks of Qbank to refresh myself.

Yeah, download the 150 q from the USMLE and familiarize yourself with the interface. That will add 15 minutes to your break time on the day of the test. I already did it but I am going to do it again tonight before bed time.
