I hear that we should definitely be taking a full load for a semester system (15-16 units). But how about for quarter system students? I'm taking 13 units at the moment. Is that okay?

i just transferred from a semester school to a school with the quarter system- fall quarter i took 17 hours which i found out was a BIG mistake! This quarter I'm taking 12 (more like 14 if you count the extra lab hours) and it is much more manageable.

13 is definitely manageable. It also depends on your classes. 16 credits of hard bio is way harder than 20 credits of easier intro classes.

13 sounds about right. I take anywhere from 12-15 each quarter depending on the class credits

I took an average of 16ish units a quarter with two 20+ unit quarters. I was a bio major.

Quarters are gay. What is this high school?

Thanks for the responses guys. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't slacking and staying on track.

You sure about that? There's less material to cram for in a quarter system lol
