Doing well in your classes while carrying a full course load always looks good. However, if you can explain why you could only take a couple of classes at a time because of your job, family or other factors it may be okay in the eyes of some schools. I think it matters on the school that you will be applying to.

For example, Creighton openly states that, "Students are strongly encouraged to carry full course loads during undergraduate years."

I know in my interview I was asked about how I am going to "juggle" my family, job and pharmacy school obligations. The reason I only took 10-12 units per semester while completing my pre-req's is that my son was young and I worked for our business. During pharmacy school I would have to hire somebody else to do my share of the business and my son will be in school at least part of the time. I also have a wonderful husband that enjoys playing "Mommy"!! 😍

Hope this helps.
Good luck to you! 🙂 :luck:

it is definetly in your best interest to take full course loads, maybe at least an average of 16 credits/term. This information is what I have received from over the years from many friends who went on to graduate school, thru questions during their interviews, eg.. "how did you handle your stress, during a certain term where you had 18credits?". Taking a full course load kind of helps them predict if you will be successful in their program. Because when your in, there is no taking 12 credits, they load you up to the max.

that kind of helps, im just getting back in school. i left with 38 credits because work and expenses, but im going back. Just started back with 2 classes and i hope to eventually be able to complete a full load of classes. Thank you -

Its always good to have support from family 😍
