So what medical schools do you guys think are in good locations? you know, where students are happy and have fun!

Tulane (and New Orleans, in general) seemed like a there was always something fun to do. The added warmth doesn't hurt either 😉 Personally, I'd be happy and make things fun where ever I decide to go, but having a city conducive to such pursuits is niiiiice

depends on the individual i guess to some extent.

and to answer your question I have no idea! But if u come to Canada I would suggest Western!! yay 😀 or UBC everyone seems to love it out there

I heard once there was some sceintific pole that shows you will actually hate the city you go to med school in regardless of where you go.

Is that true? :scared:

Depends... how large was this pole and were there strippers on/around it?

mountains are cool b/c you can ski or ride if you enjoy that. Some folks prefer urban areas or rural areas; I'd think "fun" depends on which type of area you enjoy!

Jefferson is a pretty relaxed place (as far as med schools go), and we have the block system for 1st and 2nd year so you will have many post-exam weekends with nothing to study. There's always stuff to do in Philly and everyone lives within walking distance of each other. 3rd year is hard everywhere, and 4th year is awesome everywhere (although I've realized we have a little less vacation time than some other schools).

UVa for the mountains and the campus activities. Charlottesville is a pretty cool college town.

NYU, Cornell and Mount Sinai for the city.

The students at Penn seemed like they had a blast. The curriculum is so conducive to student happiness lol.
