Hey guys! So, one of my friends wrote this song about the threadworm, in an attempt to find a way to remember it. We just had our exam today and there were a a lot of questions on it, so it really helped me! :)

So, here's the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fOEth078ig0

The lyrics are posted on the right side in the info. Hope you enjoy it! :D

OMG...GREAT video!! Freakin Hilarious. Only vet students can turn something like internal parasites into something fun.

haha, I enjoyed that.

In the same vein, there are some great veterinary/medical videos on youtube. Stuff like this always helps me to learn it.

For instance, Georgia's pemphigus video:

or University of Alberta Med's "Diagnosis Wenckebach" (one of my fav):

I also had seen a vet school video that took the Beastie Boys "Fight for your Right (To Party)" and made it "Fight for your Right (To Palpate!)"...it was awesome but now I can't seem to find it.

Oh. My. Gosh. I had completely forgotten about that project (the Georgia video). That was my class - we split into 4 groups and each had to do a presentation of some sort on a derm topic. Wow. That brings back memories!

I love that teacher's make us do this. Even if when you're making the video you hate it, it's hilarious to look back on.

Thanks for posting these!!!

This might be the palpate one you were looking for... it's a great one, too.

I had posted this one awhile ago, but it fits right into this thread... A few kids in my class are in a band called Bog Spavin and they put together this video for the first year vet students before their first anatomy exam. They will also be playing at the SAVMA symposium in Ohio in March :)
