There are 20 premed guys who formed a "special group" and walk down the college together staring down at other people and consider them to be lower beings. One of them wears a stethoscope (why??? He just does filing!) when he volunteers at a hospital. Anyways, I was hanging around with my friends who were in engineering, and the "special group" started to make fun of us for being engineers (who are lower beings to them). We were about to kick their geeky asses, but we just tried to be the better people and walked away. Are these people considered as gunners as well? lol

Is this even a serious post? I don't buy it. There are so many other things to be doing, that i can't believe that *****s out there would be wasting there time doing something so stupid. If 20 guys walked by me, I would think that there were 20 guys walking by. that's it. I wouldn't think that they are better than me. I don't even think I'd care.

Random Thoughts:

What is this, West Side Story? Who walks around in large groups staring down people? Next, they'll break out into song and dance. Also, who exactly are pre-meds staring down? It's not like they're the football team or anything. I would have depantsed them all (and don't tell me it's just called "pantsing" or I'll depants you, too).

I have a similar story to share...

At my school, there's this program students sign up for to volunteer at different wards in the hospital...so I signed up with about 80 other students one semester, and we had to go through this "training session." It was just a mock patient-volunteer conversation, the patient had cancer and was terminally ill, and they were just putting people on the spot and what not...

So...this guy, who raised his hand to be the volunteer for this little mock session goes to the FAKE patient and introduces himself as DOCTOR so-and-so...everyone had trouble holding back laughter.

You should let them know that most of them will never become doctors (hell, the stethoscope guy will probably get the boot just for being an @$$). Besides, in my experience, the engineers at my school are a lot smarter than the average pre-med. I bet less than 10% of freshman premeds ever even submit an app.
