So curiously I just received my rejection letter to the PTA program I applied to as a back up to dpt school. I did get into one of my top picks for dpt school. They had much lower requirements and a fairly generic standardized test similar to but easier than the gre which I scored in the 96 percentile on... I'm just curious if anyone else has heard of this or experienced it...

Well, what are your other credentials?

PTA programs are getting strict about who they take into their programs. There has been a pretty large problem with people going through a PTA program just to later use those credentials to apply for DPT programs. They are effectively training people who aren't actually staying in the workforce. Therefore, if there are hints that you would like to pursue the DPT profession, they are less likely to consider you.
