So my very good friend who was Stella Mudd, had her account hacked somehow and she got autobanned for spam from SDN. We contacted SDN to see if there was any way to reverse it and reinstate the account because she's obviously not a spambot or troll. And they just said make a new account. So bye bye 5 year badge what a bummer. Maybe she can ask about it with her new account but I doubt they can help since they won't or can't reinstate the account.

Anyway, be very careful about your site password I guess, it's that easy to lose your account without warning or recourse besides a new account. And you can't search someone's old pots when it happens. They said there has been an issue with older accounts being corrupted by dark web password hacking and just make sure your password is solid.

So here's the help I need. She can't access the Lounge or the SPF forum where she likes to read, not even to read, unless she hits a post minimum in the regular forums for access. I think it's something like 25-100 posts not sure. What it is is that SDN wants to gatekeep those forums from being widely viewable due to their nature, until someone's account has "aged" and hit the post minimum.

I haven't asked the mods to just give access... eh, I like my idea better.

I was wondering if the next time a sign up runs, if she can post pad and like in a game just once per page post in stars something benign, so she can work her post count up and get access again. I would tell her just to play, but her spirit is strictly a lurker and WW was too much for her. I'd tell her to tot but I don't think PM messages count for post count for hidden forum access.

I can't come out of retirement, wish I could. But I thought I could tap "my village" and see if you all can help.

There really isn't another spot on SDN it makes sense for her to post.

I wasn't sure how SDN algorithms or you guys getting alerts would feel about a bunch of necrobumps? And others in pre-vet? If the WW'er community is fine with the necros that would help. I think the number needed is like 50 so that's more posts than you think when you don't have much to say 🤣

Don’t necrobump a bunch of threads or post pad mindlessly.

Sorry her account got hacked, but she hadn’t posted in 6 years. The Lounge and SPF are intended as places where legitimate SDN users can discuss things socially. It is not intended for people who don’t participate to read passively.

If she wants to participate she is welcome to do so, but we’re not going to give her access just because she wants it.
