SOV's SDN-themed game was my first WW, so I'm really excited about this. I wonder if I'm significant enough to be a role?

Has anyone done a Watchmen game? I'm rewatching the movie tonight, haven't read the graphic novel in a while, but i think it is just a dark enough dystopia with enough people to be a good game...
I think there was already...can't remember though
I wanna do a WoW or a Forgotten Realms/D&D themed one.
LONELY ISLAND GAME yeeesssss
for how much i game, I don't WoW... i could do a warcraft based one or starcraft based one...
Forgotten Realms would be epic... soo expansive
Or if in the future you wanna co-design/mod that Mass Effect one I've thought about!
Aye aye Commander Shepard
AND IT'S GOTTA BE FEMSHEP.
I'd leave out Wulfgar though. Such a whiny puss. Hehe. Just cause you spend time in Hell doesn't mean you get to mope about it for books on end.
What can I say. I'm an Entreri fangirl myself.
what is this nerd stuff
Has anyone played The Resistance (or Avalon)? I'm pretty sure it could be expanded for up to around 20 people and played here. The biggest difference from WW is that there's no player elimination, so everyone can stay involved.
I kind of want to see what other games I could adapt or even create to play on here to mix it up from WW every once in a while. Even something like role-playing could be fun.

Are you a LARPer?
Ok, just curious. Didn't know if that was a more accepted thing with the younger generation.
Maybe? I saw a couple guys dressed up on my undergrad campus a few times, but I never investigated to see how big of a club they actually had. I suppose it is generally accepted, though.

I'm feeling "inspired" by the upcoming MLP game. Also, @DVMDream ...we need to come up with something for our "unknown theme" game. 😉

Yep yep. I like it.
But the best WW-ish board/card game is definitely the one they made of Battlestar Galactica.
Hmm. Can't say I've played it. I'll try to remember to check it out.
Another fun one is Bang!
It takes a while, though. At least a few hours unless you're all playing fast with no chit-chat.
Is that like Cash & Guns?
Must....suppress.....board....game...nerdery...fighting its......way to the ...surface...argghhh...
It's WW-esque. (With the max number of players) You have a sheriff, 2 deputies, 2 Renegades, and 3 outlaws. No one knows for sure what everyone's identity is except the sheriff. Sheriff and deputies are trying to kill all the outlaws, the outlaws are just trying to kill the sheriff, and each renegade wants to be the last one standing.
Then besides your role you get a character with an ability, and everyone has their hands with different defensive and offensive cards. You have life points and guns with different ranges and stuff.
You need helpz??

MLP sign-up coming shortly; I'm making this a short turnaround since I might end up really busy starting the 17th.
Need a poll
I'm trying to convince the WW to sign up for a game. He says he wouldn't' be good cause he's new, but he needs encouragement!

We were all new at some point! You gotta start somewhere!

Escalla
Yayyy! Pretty sure he would be miles ahead of any real noob, so I don't see being new as a way out! 😀

Last year for my birthday the wif wanted to boost my nerd street cred, so got me Settlers of Catan and Pandemic board games.
She never plays them with me though 🙁 Something about "I have to work... someone has to put food on the table"... (funny cause i make more than her as we are on the same pay scale and I have 1 additional year than her... although she does like 3x the work i do right now... i love the lab)...
There is a BSG board/card game?
i'm about halfway thru the series right now (its my new work out tv show, now that i finished breaking bad and doctor who)...
hubby is the same way. so i have all these games i would love to play and no one to play with.
too bad both of the games I listed are better with 3-4 people (although can be done with 2)....
BSG board game. Yes. And it is AWESOME.
i'm gonna have to look this up... i dunno if the wif will play this with me though, considering she doesn't know a cylon from a toaster 😎
Both of those games are great! My sister got me Pandemic and I got her Catan a couple Christmases ago.
Future WW idea: Avatar: The Last Airbender. Has this been done before? (I feel like for awhile, I missed a lot of WW games so the themes of those previously done are lacking in my memory)
