LOL, I did see that in the TOC.
Am reading through to see if he was just killed by mod spite, but since i'm here posting, are all the players actually newbies in this game except him? like is cdconn a newb in this game? Is AM a newb? obv i can tell who the smiling manators are...

I think everyone (minus LIS) is a noob or only a couple games under their belts. Definitely should read through to the end. There's a great spinning ballerina dog 😀

Everybody playing except him had none or just a few games under their belts. I was pretty lax with the definition of noob.

And nobody ever said to look out for a lion!! 😡 Not that I'm still salty or anything. 😛

I'd be willing to manator for a noob game, although I'm rusty seeing as I haven't played at all since July. I also can't do anything WW-related until at least the 16th.

Compromise:
I'll let you guys post your (our? Do i count? What?) sign ups first when the time comes, and if I get enough people who still want to manator for a concurrent noob game, then it's all good. That way intermediate people won't feel as inclined to sign up for the noob game because there will be a full game going on elsewhere. Noob game will be basic so it really should not be hard for manators to provide advice.

This is mostly due to the fact that I'm also in the midst of finals, and am currently still playing a game. So I don't know how quickly I could turn around and get a game started without tanking my semester, but if it gets pushed later towards the end of December...I'm kind of getting married around that time.

I honestly don't think concurrent games will be a problem, but like I said you guys can do your sign ups first.

I mean... I was definitely under the impression that you were going to help mod in some capacity. We primarily brought you on to check balance but that doesn't mean we'd turn down extra help in other aspects of running the game if you were available.

now I'm too old to play as a noob, too noob to be a manator...

can I be a manator manatee? or manatee manator? I'd like to learn how to mentor or be in on the game that way, like do you usually PM with your manatee? Could I be included in a chat to observe how this is done behind the scenes?

Lol. You can tag along as my mod manatee if you want, then you can observe all the things.

I can probably manator. Somewhat depends on the weeks, as I've got a two week stretch on clinics coming up soon-ish, but I can likely make things work.

If we get enough players for Michigan and people still want to mentor at the same time, plus there are noobs who want to play a noob game then, I don't see the problem :shrug:

Like I said I was only going to run it at the same time if that works out.
 
Totally missed that "getting married at the end of the month" thing the first time I read the thread. Congrats Dubz! I'm still ignoring your snapchats though.
