It's still an ongoing discussion on MU, but there's also the topic of what should replace mylo/lylo since it no longer makes sense in absence of the term. Although, I wonder if we'd had to change mayoral cycle terms as well to avoid confusion.

personally ive been fine with keeping mylo/lylo and replacing lynch with voted out
it's what i do for all my games anyways
i've heard exlo being brought up a lot as a replacement though

Besides, it doesn't even make sense -- you can't easily destroy a werewolf that way! Everyone with a basic understanding of lycanthrope physiology knows that.

Based on my excellent understanding of werewolf physiology, we should be voting to feed them massive amounts of baker's chocolate. Bonus is that they won't die if they're not wolves! Instant village victory every time.

Alternatively, we could feed lots of garlic. While this is not a very specific werewolf toxin, it also has the bonus of being effective against vampires, possibly for similar reasons.

(is hemolyzed blood nutritionally viable for vampires? If not I would assume they could die in as little as 12-24 hours based on the frequency of feeding needed for vampire bats)

(I am putting my zoology degree to good use here y'all)

I think terminology changes would be relatively straightforward

"Vote" to eliminate player
"Nominate" for mayor vote

More options for Mylo/lylo, which might be less organic but probably not any more difficult to pick up than vca etc.

MVL, mvlo could be options to replace Mylo
VL, vlo could be options to replace lylo

I agree with what paws brought up though, changing the terminology won't change the game and I do think it's time to revisit the use of "lynch" itself.

As a bonus, people won't have their votes autocorrecting to "lunch" all the time!

I think it's great that we're replacing the word "lynch" for obvious reasons but also because now my medical school doesn't need to look up my post history and think I'm psychotic from now on 😀

Tried to keep it consistent with the origins of mylo (mislynch or lose) and lylo (lynch or lose)

AM or someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I think LyLo refers to a situation where if you do not vote out a wolf, you lose the game. MyLo is where if you make the wrong vote, you lose the game. I think one MyLo example is where you have 3 village, 1 wolf, and 1 neutral- you can vote out either the wolf or the neutral and continue to the next day, whereas if it were 3 village and 2 wolves for LyLo, you have to vote specifically a wolf. Or when you have 3 villagers to 1 wolf and no-vote is an option (i.e. you can majority vote not to vote someone out)- the MyLo resolution would be to no-vote that day, a villager dies overnight, and you're at LyLo the next day.
