  1. Pre-Medical
I'm currently on my gap year before medical school. I work a 9-5 that really only requires like an hour of work a day, so I was wondering if anyone has any advice on what I could do while at the office. Is there any good resources to look at to prestudy, or a remote job where I could just make extra money through the day.

Before anyone says do nothing, it's causing a drain on my mental health to do nothing, so studying or another remote job would be a lot better during my day.

Thanks.

Bro truuuuussttt the time that you have right now, you will never have again. Please unwind, find some new hobbies, and relax before school starts
The issue is I'm at work though, so I can't do my hobbies. I just need to find something to do to pass the time in my cubicle.

Read, watch TV, learn SQL for research if you don’t know it already. You probably feel a bit guilty for doing nothing as you’re used to doing so much. I’ve definitely felt that. I like the idea of getting a second job that can earn you some extra spending money when school starts

Learn a language, or improve your knowledge of a language you already know. Bonus points if it is frequently spoken by non-English speakers in the area where you'll be going to medical school.

Read books that have something to teach about human nature. Some people are fond of the classic Russian novelists and will recommend The Brothers Karamazov and such. I really liked Deacon King Kong, set in Brooklyn in 1969, and Demon Copperhead, inspired by David Copperfield.

LMK if you'd like some suggestions for video series or non-fiction.
