Hey all,

Just rewatching some of Chad's videos and I'm on the Thermodynamics bit (specifically 6.1), and he goes into detail on gas in pistons. He does mention that specifics aren't typically for DAT takers, but I just want to clarify before completely shutting out the concept.

Is this topic completely out (as it's an intersection of physics and chemistry), or are there recommended points to take from this section?

Cheers,

CC

You probably don't have to know the details, but it'd be better to study the section unless your test is in a couple of days.

Yes. You need to know some concepts of Pressure and Volume relationships in Gases as well as temperature, Kinetic energy, Mass and speed. Destroyer has good problems on that. If you need a thorough explanation, textbook "Chemistry Brown and Lemay" would be recommended.

Hope this helps.
