A flask weighs 95 g when empty. When
filled with 200 mL of a certain liquid, the
weight is 328 g. What volume (in
milliliters) would 1,000 g of the liquid
occupy?

Can you guys,explain this.I got it off of ADA gchem #43
Thanks.

Since the flask weight 328g after adding the liquid, the liquid therefore weighs (328-95=233g).
Since every 200mL weighs 233g, 1000g would equal... set u a ratio....

200/233=x/1000
x=858.4mL

Is this even a chemistry problem?

I think it would be (200 x 1000)/(328-95) ?

I know tell me about it.I just took ADA test and had 3 wrong on gchem and on bio I had 2!!!🙂
I hope my real thing will be just like this.
Well,I know the real one is muchhhhhh harder.But what if!!!!!
