I am wondering as a general dentist, to what extent are you doing endo/ ortho treatments? placing implants? treating kids? On average, what is the general dentist's involvement in terms of these things. I understand that some CE classes will be required but if you were interested, in general, will you have patients coming to a general dentist for these treatments?

Case selection + proper training and you can do all of these things within reason.

Most endos and restoring implants are easy enough without further training. Placing implant and ortho you will need further ce courses.
