General question for all those applying...

Hi there,

I'm just about ready to submit my initial distribution list to the CAS for Neuro... I went overseas to med school but scored above a 90 on both Steps 1 and 2 and have about a 3.7 gpa. I'm trying to figure out how many programs I should apply to "safely". I'm also trying to get a nice mix of good programs, "reach" programs, and "safe" programs. I'm thinking of applying to about 30 in total. Anyone have any advice/insight into this? How many programs are you guys applying to?

I'm in a similar situation,IMG,high board scores etc--I'm applying to around 35-40,with the same mix of programs. I think it's better to be safe and apply to more now than later,when it's also more expensive to apply. Good luck!
