I am currently a D1 student who recently got into the podcast world of dentistry and is SUPER excited about the future of dentistry as a practice owner. Of course, it is not going to be a piece of cake, therefore, I will like to ask you guys who have real-world experience some general yet specific questions about owning your practice.
Here we go!
1. What are the most piratical skills to master as a general dentist (result with max production) ?
2. Which path did you pursuit? Start up or acquisition ? Why?
3. How do you find a bank that will lend you loans and about how much you have to borrow?
4. How do you find a trust-worth construction company? Do you know anything about construction prior to hiring a company?
5. Did you hire a company to do patient/doc ratio analysis and help you decide where is a good location? Did you dive into the market by yourself? Why do you choose either method?
6. What are some trust-worthy or good platforms used to hire the right team member?
7. How do you manage salary for each position? do you raised the salary if so how do you gauge how much to increase?
8. Do you provide bonus to your team members? How?
9. How do you choose which insurance company to use *how to approach them* for your team members?
