Hello,

Does anyone know of a website that can be used to pronounce generic drug names? I have tried dictionary.com but it requires a subscription fee. Thank you for your help.

There are actually two of them.

1. Morton, IK; Hall, JM. Dictionary of Pharmacological Agents: Properties and Synonyms . 1999.
2. Milne, GWA. Drugs: Synonyms and Properties .

I can't remember which one I used, but I know one of them is correct. If neither of those books are on campus, I also think Martindale's may have pronounciation keys.

Do you mean "generic" drug names, or are you really asking about "genetic" drugs?

For generics, Lexi-Comp's Drug Information Handbook is excellent, and has all the dosing, ADRs, kinetics, etc, in addition to the pronounciation. It's about $50.00 and is way smaller than facts and comparisons.
